FAQs
What kind of marketplace is this for?
If you have supply and demand that live in specific places — service providers, locations, coverage zones, demand clusters — GlocalPin is for you. Dog sitters, therapists, solar installers, couriers. If geography matters to your business, it belongs on a map.
Do I need technical skills?
Right now, yes — a little. You'll need a CSV accessible via URL and some comfort setting things up. We're working on making that easier. If you're a PM or operator used to working with data, you'll be fine.
What's the AI chat?
An embedded Claude interface that has access to your map data. Ask it about coverage gaps, supply imbalances, or anything else you'd want to explore. You bring your own Anthropic API key — we don't mark it up.
Can't I just use Google My Maps for this?
Sure — it's a solid general tool. But it wasn't built for marketplace operators, and you'll hit the walls quickly. Here's a quick comparison given our current feature set (many improvements coming).
